Staggs Bar Musselburgh Over 150 years of Family Ownership 1858 – 2010
Staggs Bar in Musselburgh nestles behind the famous Brunton Theatre in Musselburgh, close to the Musselburgh race course and near many fine restaurants. We are easily accessible by bus, taxis and other means of public transport.
Long established, Staggs have been providing a fabulous atmosphere in Musselburgh for over 150 years and in the process have won over 10 years of CAMRA awards as Pub of the Year.
Staggs has an authentic Victorian decor, an outside beer garden and smoking area.
We are a favourite for those attending horse racing in Musselburgh..

Staggs regular guest brewery beers are accompanied by a constant selection of draft lagers (Tennents Ice Cold, Stella Artois) bottled lagers, draft ciders (Magners Golden Draft, Dry Blackorn) and bottled ciders as well as Caledonia Best and Guiness.
We also stock a wide selection of red, white and rose wine, various shots, spirits and a variety of soft drinks.
Being a traditional Scottish pub we have a large range of blended whiskies and 15 malt whiskies including our “Staggs Malt of the Month” promotion.

We have regular guest ales on tap as well as a selection of draft (Tennants Ice Cold and Carling Ice Cold)
and bottled lagers, draft (Magners Ice Cold, Dry Blackthorn) and bottled cider, Belhaven Best, Guiness. I.P.A.,
We also stock a wide selection of Red, White and Rose wines, various shots and spirits and a wide range of soft drinks.
This being a traditional Scottish pub, we have a large range of Blended whiskys and 15 Malt Whiskys, including our regular ‘Malt of the month’ promotion. We have a bountiful supply of other spirits, including 20 Rums, 10 Gins, and various Vodkas.

Staggs Bar features guest brewery beers from Brew Dog, Thornbridge, Dark Star, Ossett, Pictish Brewing Company, Fyne Ales, Castle Rock, Orkney Brewery, Hopback Brewery, Oakham Ales, and Loddons. The specific beers offered by each brewery may vary.
Staggs Beer Garden
On a summers day why not take advantage of our beautiful beer garden. We have occasional barbecues and ice cold drinks. This secluded spot is a haven of tranquility and a great sun trap. A warm welcome awaits you.
